Back when I was a kid ( now 65 ) everyone had cats and I mean CATS 25 / 30 and some even more.

Which were a real pain like jump up on the screen door when the kitchen door was opened.

As usual with that many cats they would get sick and it was up to me the thin them out.

I never thought about be an animal abuser in the least and since we didn't have much money we never thought about taking them to the vet to be put down!

When we had pets that got sick or ran over I shot them rather than let them suffer.

I guess now I was a wicked animal abuser and didn't know it but to be honest I shed many a tear over having to do the dirty work of putting our pets down
