| Oh, and before someone asks why I let my kids download games (these are young girls playing kiddie games), the answer is that I don't really care. My wife does no online shopping on that ol' Dell and frankly, I'm just waiting for the day to come when it gets infected to the point that it isn't worth cleaning - 'cause it's going to the end of the driveway the next Tues morning and being replaced with a more reliable system. The only reason it is still here is because my wife has resisted switching to Mac, but in the 3 1/2 years I've been running them, she now spends more time on this than the Dell. The kids use Macs at school and know how to use either. My wife likes the challenge of trying to clean the infections - and the last one she spend three days fighting with it - and even started swearing at it which she very rarely does. I kind of chuckle to myself 'cause I remember doing the same thing. I believe the next bad infection will be the last for it. | |
