So does everyone else. DeKalb and Pioneer and five other major inbred companies produce so many inbreds they have to sell them on the open market to make more money. They do have hybrids you can't buy anywhere else. Your regional companies like Beck or First Choice are often better at picking genetics for your farm. The big companies can't compete in seed quality either, and the same pedigree will vary over 30 bu an acre depending on how it was grown and how it was handled. There went your leaders out the window right there. Leon Bird is the most honest man I ever met and I think Mark Denzler is right there with him. I can't say that about other local salesmen.
