When confronted with police pressure, simply state:

"Am I under arrest? If so I wish to know the chrages against me. If not, I wish to go freely about my business. In either case, I do not consnet to a search of my person, property, vehicle or the location of my arrest. I do not wish to talk to you without counsel present."  And then SHUT UP. They get aggravated, make threats, and then usually turn you loose. Only got hauled in once, and was released about an hour later after the lawyer showed up. Tried charging me with "Interferrence with official acts" in Iowa, because I wouldnt asnwer all of his questions about where I had been and what I had been up to. I just stood there looking at him, and he got pissy. (Fort Dodge pd).

Unfortunately, you may not have much recourse, as the old blue line will line up around each other.
