N.W. Illinois
I farm in Northern Illinois. It will be put on a 2510H John Deere Anhydrous Applicator http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCatalog/FR/category/FR_NUTRIENT_A... for fall use. These applicators are becoming very popular in the states. It can be used as a pull type in the fall and spring or 3 pt. mounted for sidedressing on standing corn. John Deere copied the idea from Yetter manufacturing http://www.yetterco.com/prod_p_2987nh3magnumfertilizercoulter.php but made several improvements. They are both high speed units with high volume p/ac N apps. We will be running 2 manifolds with shutoffs. The Maxflow should be a perfect fit for us.
The tanks we use are 1500 gal and are refilled at the fert dealer. No bottom feed and 1 1/4" hose so it was recommended to go with a heat exchanger to get the extra flow we need. Also we will run 11/64" flow lines instead of 1/8" because of the high flow in 30" spacing.
I've talked with Cameron(President of a company returning calls to a farmer,go figure)and he has been very informative and a pleasure to talk to. I am looking forward to getting the unit up and running.
