Ea. Washington | Did a small back porch with old barn wood. Hint, after insulating and putting up sheet rock I put a layer of black plastic behind the barn wood. The knot holes are really hard to spot and any cracks or imperfections really don't show. Second hint' it took all the used siding off two sides of a 30 x 40 old barn to get enough decent boards to do a 10 x 12 room. Also made hinges by taking strap hinges and grinding the edges kind of wavy and distressed them with a ballpeen hammer and made cabinet handles out of 1/2 a small horseshoe. then shingled the ceiling. Didn't look to bad.
