| Ok, I checked just a couple of those articles. Looks like they are talking about making your smartphone into a wifi hotspot and connecting the iPad that way. I consider tethering, hooking a cable direct from the iPad to the phone. I know there is not a way to do that - maybe there is if the iPad is jailbroken, but certainly not stock. Maybe I need to broaden my view of what I consider tethering. Looks like there are ways to "tether" using wifi and bluetooth. Either way would beat a cable anyhow, IMO. | |
