It sure looked like a fair question to me.  Every time I watch a tire guy work, I wonder what makes anyone want to go into that business.  It's dirty, it's often bent over, back-breaking work, and we all think it costs too much.  It may look like good money, but for the effort that sometimes goes into it, they earn it.

And yes, I do a lot of my own tire work (along with most everything else), but I don't think the tire guys I deal with are ripping me off.
