That would make for a very exciting time in the dispatcher's chair.

Years ago, I dispatched for the county sheriff's office and most of the time is was painstakingly boring, but occasinally (about once every 4 to 6 weeks) something would liven things up, unfortunately it wasn't usually something good that brought on the adrenaline rush, but juggling a few phone lines, dispatching/relaying info over the radio, and making entries into the log all in a timely manner can get real hectic when you're alone. 

I didn't last very long in that job, long enough to get fully trained and comfortable performing the job and it was time to move on, too much downtime between the adrenaline rushes.
