My 8410T done the same thing. Look at the junction point of the cable that routs under the cab and eventually powers the cab. The "T" goes to the alternator and can be found at the left front edge of the cab. The connection had come apart. I took a hose clamp and re-attached it.......it work for a while but eventually had to put a new cable on.
