Near-north Ontario, French River | All our neighbouring towns have departments so there's no chance of a homeowner not being responded too. Part of the mutual aid agreements is that if one department is busy with a large call , that requires all/most of their equipment, neighbouring the closest neighbouring department will respond/help with any additional calls. I don't think it happens very often but its confronting to know that if our department is responding to another call, that the our closest neighbour will come to our aid if need be. |
