I am told that the students who do not live at least two miles from the school, but outside the city limits have to pay for riding the school bus. Apparently the school is not reimbursed by the state for transportation costs for these students. AFAIK, the students are not required to pay for parking in the school lot, but there is a high school not far from me that started requiring parking fees this year.
I will say that I have met some school administrators over the years who would be hard pressed to find employment in any other field. | |
