| I'm pretty proud of our local volunteer fire dept too. The guys put in a lot of effort for a job that doesn't pay. Through my own fault I had a trash fire get away from me recently that burned right up to a couple of buildings. I appreciated that a fast response with reliable equipment averted a possible catastrophe.
In the past few years the fire dept has built one new fire hall and is in the process of completing another one. I contributed to both projects as either one is within 10 miles of my place. | |
