That's a surprising double crop selection.  Canola and sunflowers are susceptible to many of the same diseases, and it's usually not recommended to plant highly susceptible crops more than once every four years (susceptible crops include mustard, sunflowers and edible beans).  Growing two susceptible crops within a 12 months period is probably going to result in significant disease problems...
