Ea. Washington | Think I'd use a rifle. You need to knock em down where you can get to them, not watch them run down a canyon with a splinter sticking out of them. Check and see if the wolves have eaten or driven the elk out of there. Son has hunted a good area in Idaho for several years and last year they quit going there, said all they saw was wolf tracks. Didn't know if they ate them or chased them away but they weren't there any more. Good area for years and years. Never hunted around Old Town but could be good. Used to drive there 60+ years ago to buy beer. All you had to do was be able to see over the bar. | |
