I still like my 15 inch beans over the 38 inch I used to plant - corn still is - but I donno if the yield is all that different, year by year. Shades weeds, more forgiving of planter skips, and combines a bit easier in the 15 inch rows I think.

Burdick shut down at 5:00 today to shuffle beans around, they must feel we are all done with beans now? Hope the cranes go away soon, too tight down there to manuver when the long lines come with corn. Only have 15 acres of beans left for me, plus a replant spot, so I guess pretty close for me. Combine is starting to look for a rest, few nagging things to attend to. :)
