Subject: Tillage Radish SW Iowa- Will it help

MN, Blue Earth
My soybeans will be havested today October 5, 2010. I am in SW Iowa Adair/Guthrie county and have heard a lot about tillage radish. Will this work in my area following soybeans? Following corn? I would be broadcasting it, not drilling. Is there enough time for germination? Suggestions? Where can I get radish seed around the Des Moines area?
