Subject: Re: Compound Bow for Young Boys

I bought my son a Browning Micro Midas. It goes from something like 30 lbs up to maybe 45-50. I got it used off eBay with another Browning target type compound bow. They both shoot great and I had less than $100 in the pair including shipping. My oldest son outgrew it, so I loaned it to a friend of mine who was w/o a job at the time for his son to learn on. When he outgrows it I'll get it back for my (now) 5yr old to learn on.

Always buy a good name brand bow, as it CAN be safety issue if something goes wrong. You can ALWAYS resell a good one for close to what you have in it, if you shopped smart the first time.
