ECIL | After reading all the responses I am surprised by the negativity of serving on jury duty. It is a civic duty to serve even though it may be a pain and/or inconvenient. Getting a postponing of service to serve at a future time is one thing, making excuses to get out of it altogether is another. If for some unforseen and unfortunate event someone with a negative attitude toward jury duty finds themselves at the mercy of a jury's decision, what type of person and what type of attitude would you want sitting in the jury box? | |
