| In Indiana you can request to have your jury duty obligations delayed. I think anybody can make the request, not just farmers, but you must serve the next quarter. Also, if you're an elected official you can request to be excused from jury duty, same for Federal Grand Jury duty. 3-4 years ago I was selected for FGJ. On of the questions on the on-line form was if I was an elected offical and if so what. Soon as I answered the question & stated my office I was automatically excused. That's about the only goog thing that has come out of 28 yrs as Twp Trustee. | |
