My dad got these trees in the spring of 85. Had them sitting in some pots to transplant. Said they were chinese chectnuts. He was killed in a tornado the next week,so I brought them to our place and planted them. Thought they were all the same and lately have noticed that out of five trees only two of them have the same nuts. Just wondering and today one was losing about four nuts a minute. Looked good to eat so thought I would check it out. Didn't see any pictures of some of them, so next I asked the experts. long winded explaination of why |
