Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463 | Rebuild the combine, but find someone to do the soybeans. Just do corn - no more bean dust!!
You could be doing corn while most of the countryside is doing soybeans. If you take wet corn to town, short or no lines.
When you get your corn done, go to work for the bean combining people. Maybe providing a grain cart and tractor, or truck.
Could you do enough work to cover most of the combining bill?
I just hate to see you spend $150,000- or so.
When getting advice about things like this remember:
The person telling you to spend a bunch of money, is not the person writting the check.
This is a good discussion.
