Casey Illinois | Mike, everyone has good answers and some good ideas. We went from a 2366 to a 2388. also went from 6 to 8 row, 20 ft to 25 ft. Love the size of the 2388. We have a 12 row planter and get along fine with the 8 row head. You might have some problems with your seed corn with that arrangement. With the hours it will cost an arm and leg, maybe both. I would go with the 2388 or even a 2588, not many used 6088's around. If changing corn heads, go with a 3000 series. We like ours, it done a fantastic job this year. We leave our 25 ft head on while roading, might go different ways than before. I think they have some good lower houred machines here in town to look at You know what the red ones will do so I would stay with them. | |
