nw NC | You stated that the doctor would not give him DOT medical card. What privileges does that card grant? If it means not fit to drive , case closed. With all the recent incidences that you mentioned it appears to me to be time to stop him from driving . How much longer until his drivers license is up for renewal? Perhaps you should talk to drivers license examiner . They would probably require him to take an on road driving test. He may pass it , he may not. We had to stop my dad from driving at about age 75 due to failing eyesight , reaction time , poor flexibility , etc. He did not like it but accepted it. Thank goodness we did it before he hurt himself or others. Good luck. | |
