Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust | Came through there some years ago, just at the start of harvest. Was on a rescue mission for a caravan and Patrol that had to be left at Coral Bay in tragic circumstances. Came down the coast and turned inland at Dongara, heading across through Mukinbudin to Southern Cross.
We actually only made it as far as Nullarbor on the way home, when the turbo shaft broke...apparently a common issue on 3 litre Patrols at around 200k kms.
It was an interesting trip,and I enjoyed it, despite the unfortunate reasons for it being necessary, and soem issues we had along the way. |
