southern mn | I just bought an ez 500 with the xp/hp option. I was wondering what I should have for planting. xp is 800 a year for 3-5 inch accuracy and hp is 1500 for 2-4 inch. How do they compare to something like starfire 2 for accuracy? Also my screen says I need to update software for the ez steer controller(t2 box?) to be compatible with the ez 500. Anybody else have to do this? I had the t2 updated last fall when I had ez guide-must take another update for 500.
