ecmn | my goal is when i have rented land is that i would give the land lords some beef. a package of hamburger, a few nice steaks, and roasts.
do they have a small hobby like collecting toy tractors, or do they have grandkids that come over. next time you talk to them look around the house and yard to see if you can see them on a personal level to get some ideas. did they happen to get a new vehicle recently that you could get them something for. heck what about a gas card. for the next couple times they go to fill up they have your gift certificate.
the one thing if they are an older couple that retired from farming, maybe bring them super with your wife. old people love company, well most do. ha! sometimes you dont have to spend money to make someone smile. | |
