You probably can do what you have suggested but you have raised doubts which are usually valid.

As many of us have said here before when questioned about multiple switches, that is generally safer and often less confusing to use a relay or another completely separate switch.

Many of our customers just use a separate implement switch availabe from Deere for the SV situation. If you plant another crop (soybeans) with the planter that doesn't use the Smartbox, the separate implement switch would continue to work properly.

The extra switch is not very expensive and might be a good plan.
