Iowa | Glad it worked out. In a "normal" situation--lots of acres to do--the odds of waiting adding to your total bottom line after all acres were done, would be non-existent.
You did a smart move since only one small field was ready(and got kinda lucky). I have been at this long enough to know that you always take a crop that's ready.
Do you suppose those guys in Mn and Wi that got 6 to 9 inches of rain in the last 36 hours would be glad they didn't run when they could have?
You risked over $400/A and gained $12. I gamble enough without doing it on purpose.
