| As mentioned the price includes one year's support. What they don't tell you is that if you no longer want to pay support and just use the programme as it is, it will lose some of the functionality as soon as you upgrade your display software to a newer version. Then you have to pay the support just to get back to where you were in the first place. I can't even look at my yield maps now and given that it took three years to get any meaningful data out of our Agleader system (due to hardware issues from new), I was a bit miffed to find out my version of SMS had become obsolete in the meantime.
This reaaaaalllllllly annoys the hell out of me, as it is not made clear that this will happen when you buy it and is basically a cheap trick to get you paying an annual fee.
It's not a very user friendly programme either - so I would strongly recommend looking straight at Farmworks given my own experience.
