I hit one a few years ago with a case 2590 pulling a drill. It was in a waterway with tall grass. Was only going maybe 4-5mph. The front tire fell in the hole. If you know the 90 series, the engine block is pretty much the frame of the tractor. It broke the tabs off the block where it attaches to the rest of the frame. The block was toast. We turned it in, and insurance paid for a new engine.
Watch for tile holes........
