| I haven't seen any cracks in that area on our's with liquid but I'm going to double check it now. Our's did break where the hitch arms attach to the main frame and I've done some reinforcing on each side of the center pivot where welds were starting to crack. My biggest gripe with our planter is all the corners Deere cut in order to keep their costs down. To hold up to the extra weight of fertilizer they really should have had another thousand pounds of steel built into them and things like the cheap bushings in the lift wheel arm pivots could have been designed to hold up much better. | |
