I agree with Iseedit. A friend had some poles sawed square at a samill several years ago. They were beautiful since the creasote was shot clear through the poles. The only thing I would ask the powers that be, are creasote poles acceptable before I had them sawed. If your poles are osmote(green)treated, you have no problem that I can see.

A side note: I worked in a factory that was being renovated for a circuit board factory several years ago. The woman building inspector red tagged us and shut us down because she saw we were using white PVC pipe for drains. She wanted us to use blue because she had seen it used in a similar situation and thought it must be code.None of us had ever seen blue PVC before, A quick call by the owner to the mayor and the state governor quickly put her in her place.lol. We were only shut down for 2 hours. Sometimes bureaucrats have to be put in their place.
