I bought a used 955 semi mount vertical fold that had a regent tank mounted on the lift assist arm. I'm not sure the pivot pin on the arm is designed for the additional weight. I've not used the tank since I purchased the planter. The lift assist has shown no unusual wear or stress. Other than a tank on the tractor, the lift assist arm is the only place I know of that would allow for mounting tanks.
