It is my understanding, MiTM is makeing their own infrared heater - the one from Northern tool was imported and MiTM was part of that deal/distributer with Northern. Those units had some bad ones with problems. Talking to a MiTM pressure washer / compressor dealer in Robinsdale Mn (Mpls) - MiTM was to have "their" infrared heater ready for this season     (2010-2011 winter). It should be very reliable, as is there other equipment. I was very close to buying a VAL 6 - seen them at Big Iron farm show for $18xx some bucks, the MiTM is supposed to be under $1000 bucks.  I'm thinking very hard (hand on wallet) about buying one . . . .  .

The other nice thing about this company, they assyemble their products in the USA. A lot of their componates are USA made also . .  .

Edit: Sorry for any confusion. I have found out differently - MiTM has their product made to their specs, by the importer Pinnacle group. MiTM's product is different then Northern Tools. MiTM uses a metal fuel tank and metal fuel lines along with a couple other fit/finish type spec's. Here's the website for Pinnacle - they only sell to their distrubuters (Menards, most hardware stores, Other big box stores ect) Again, sorry for the miss info.
