We used to sharpen disk blades right on the machine. We had a flat belt with a
connector lace. The belt was separated so it went over the gangs then reconnected.
Used a tractor with a pulley to turn the gangs.
The stone was attached to an arm, the arm pivoted on a base which you held down with your foot. As I said it brought back memories, not my hearing!
