Marengo, Iowa | We are glad we found this break on the planter frame before we went to the field. don't think we would of caught it if the planter had been in transport or planting position. We had partly unfolded it and put the cylinder stops in so we could work on it in our small shop while it rained. You can see that we had beefed up the 7x7 with a angle brace inside. If you are carrying a lot of extra weight with dry fertilizer. like we do, you may want to check this area. I guess we are trying to push the equipment beyond it's design, plus it is starting it's 15 or 16th season.
