Le Sueur VIA St.Thomas | Hey Mt,
Thank you very much for your service; there are countless numbers of people who benefit from your organization, my family included. Based on our experiences, Shriners is second to NONE!
Our first child (daughter) has spina bifida. We are fortunate to have the Mayo Clinic in Rochester as our main service provider. We also have 'Childrens' in St. Paul as an option. We 'deal' with insurance as well as hospitals on a regular basis; 'Mom' is an RN (Labor & Delivery), so we are good at it. From a patient standpoint, the whole Shriners experience has been an amazing one.
My favorite area, as far as Shriners is concerned, is the ortho area. Our first set of HKAFO's came from Dr. Tim at Shriners. Our second set came from the Mayo Health System and they had all they could do to come up with a comparable set- Dr. Tim ended up having to 'fix' those as well. It's a no-brainer where out 3rd set will be coming from.
Thanks again for your service. It is greatly appreciated.
good luck -jim
Edit- the pic is of Emily before her 1st day of first grade.
