You are correct except the manure was applied last fall and I grew a crop this year. So the grey area is to request or include a percentage of the costs for that application now. I feel I am ok to ask but just uneasy about what is really right or wrong. Maybe neither. Agreement is between the seller and me but I guess the buyer is to pay for my expenses. Seems the consensus here is I was ok to ask, which buyer thought was wrong, but I will not demand it if they resist or decide not to close on the deal. The friendship means more to me then a few dollars.
