I also tried disconnecting the connection on one side of the plunger arm load sensor and found that one side runs about 300 lbs lower hyrulic pressure than the other side.
You can bale with only one load cell, you just don't have driving arrows.
Pesonally, I think there's something wrong with the load sensors or the calibration of them.
