North Central Kansas
Glad that you got it done Larry. I finished mine Sunday. Averaged 133. Test weight was 56 and moisture was from 15.9-18.2. The field had 3 pretty good spots that had drowned out. I was pleased with the yield. Have 35 acres to pick for a friend but it is not ready yet. I enjoyed "picking" corn. Combine ran quiet the whole time. I had intended to plant a couple of more fields this spring but chickened out and planted milo. Wish they were corn. Is your milo ready to go? Ours is a way off yet. I did see one of our soybean fields was starting to show some color today. Most of them are still green. I hope we catch some of the rain they are talking about. A good inch or two would be great.
