WY, OK | Freeze brands change the color of the hair, hot brands create a scar that eventually just leaves a raised area that grows hair over. I like freeze brands for the more humane factor but they take even longer than a hot iron and you have to clip every animal. We don't brand for the fun of it so every second counts be it clipping hair or cleaning irons so propane is still the most efficient for us. | |
