Farmington IL | We got started on Saturday morning. The corn was running 21%. We moved and on sunday we found some slightly drier corn. Yesterday we moved again and got into a field of corn that tested 17.7%. Hard to believe. The earliest we have ever harvested and the driest corn we have picked in three years. So far we have nice yields and the test weight is good. No body else is running yet but I imagine they will get going pretty quick with the corn being so dry. The beans on the other hand are a long ways off yet. Most have no yellowing at all. | |
