that's normal on a new display if you bought it from the parts department. CNH has no idea what vehicle you're going to use it on, so they are shipped without software. If you told your dealer that you were upgrading your 2388 from a UD+ to a Pro 600, he should have alerted you that you'd need him to load software before the display would be ready to use.
