So far we've shelled around 130-140 ac of corn. so far WE had one field that this was the 6th straight year for corn. This field went approx 30 bpa over it's 10 yr APH and was the best corn ever raised on this field. Field is grid tiled. Everything elses, including the field adjoining it which is basically the same soil type but not grid tiled, has ran 20-25 bpa under their 10 yr APH. On the high ground the corn is excellent, in the good black soils that normally yield the highest the corn is terrible.

Guys on the sand in this area are saying they are seeing some of their best yields ever. . Almost all of it has a gravel underbase so water damage isn't a problem. The wet summer has been an ideal year for them. Most of that ground needs at least 1" of rain a week just to get a decent crop.
