Land values through the years in our family.
1941 granddad's farm purchase 28.50/acre with buildings
2010 dad's inheritance from father value at 4k/acre bare land mostly woods
1994 I bought 100 a for 145k
2004 sold for 400k
2004 I bought 315 a for 1500/a
2010 for sale at 2750/a
Real money in farming is in the real estate...
