nc IA | Thanks for the thoughts all, I'm going to go ahead with it - I'm actually thinking of running it on the combine in the fall, and 4840 in the spring doing tillage. Fall tillage doesn't seem to kick up near the same amount of dust as in the spring. combine has the tube between the exhaust and the air intake extension pipe - but I am considering doing the muffler elimination (leaf collection ignition device) like they did on later models anyway. without the tube style precleaner like the newer models, I don't see the venturi being that effictive the way it is set up now. | |
