 | around here it only costs about 20-30 an acre for seed not per bushel, 
 without a doubt chop the straw and bale the soybean stubble up.  we have loafing yards for the steers, the soybean bales fall right apart, stay cleaner a lot longer and breaks down faster,  same with corn, but with corn you gain nitrogen because you arent using nitrogen in the soil to break down the corn, then you spread it all back on.  will never go back to wheat unless i didnt have a soybean year.
