CSR doesn't get to the point on fertility though. A landlord could and should require evidence of fertilzer applications. They should also include some language requiring application equal to removal rates of the grain harvested. Poor drainage or years of abuse can have a 90 CSR farm producing much lower than a 65 CSR farm. We see that too often.
