Subject: Re: Are all grease zerks the same size?

Sunnyside, WA
Found a lot of info and sources for grease zerks that have metric threads (m6, m8, & m10), but those same sources bill the guns as one size fits all. My first reaction would be to replace the zerks, or a couple of them with new ones. See if your gun stays on the new zerks any better. I have heard some noise about cheap zerks being made of soft steel and then not keeping a good seal when the gun is attached. That may be the case with what you have. Let me know what you end up finding out.
